The May Photo Contest

The May photo contest is officially underway, starting today and ending on May 31. As I explained before, all you have to do is send in a photo(to gnunez0@gmail.com) of you or your friends in any piece of *oBST apparel. We'll post our favorites after every week, with the top 3 being decided at the end of the month. First place will be your choice of one *oBST item, on us. Second- and third-place prizes have yet to be determined.

The New Line of Web Banners

Here's the image samples. They're not clickable banners yet.(And, yes, I know some of them are pretty similar, and some are better than others...)

Crazy Stuff on the Internets

Here's a list of online videos worth checking out:

♠ Watch this video animation of flight paths. Wild.

♠ Watch this music video. It was entered for some sort of v.j. competition.

♠ It's an iPod commercial hack!

The Flaming Lips T-shirt--$20

Here's one of my favorites. Other, more obscure band T-shirts on the way.

The Greatest (and Craziest) Band Out There Is:

The Flaming Lips, no question about it. I saw these guys over the weekend on "Austin City Limits" on KLCS. Simply put:it was crazy. Ever since then I've been scrounging the Internet for some cool vintage T-shirts from one of their concerts. I've found a few really good ones, so check back here for the pics. (The shirts, of course, will be available through the *oBST shopping cart; price still T.B.D.)

Crazy Stuff on the Internets

Check out Google's latest program (d/l is free). It's like 3-D imaging software but without the major $$$. Apparently, it also syncs-up really well with GoogleMap and Google Earth.Check it out!

(See the photo at left for a sample of what it can do.)

Another T-shirt Design

A sneak-peek at one of many upcoming T-shirt designs from *oBST:

A Note on Blog Posts

I figured that instead of just sticking to 100% coverage of all things *oBST, that our blog should branch out into a more general one. So, starting today, I'll be posting random stuff from the Internet of anything and everything that I may find (or that's sent in)that looks interesting/funny. So, check back often!

As a matter of fact, something like this would look pretty tight on a T-shirt, no? I'll make the necessary T-shirt design tweaks and post the final image sample in a little bit.
